I finally got a chance to look at my yellow 20118 Smurf. I took some pictures of it with the orange cap so you all can see the difference. Both caps have the raised spots and both are marked 1978...

I have the 20118 with yellow umbrella. Mine came from someone in the U.S. though who had no idea that Smurf was any different than any other Smurf and I did not pay more than $8 or $10 for it....
