I think the cartoon version of The AstroSmurf was the best compared to the comicbook version -- besides having Smurfette as a Swoof, we also have the ubiquitous threat of Gargamel seeking after the Smurfs while they were busy entertaining Dreamy's fantasy of travelling to a different world in a spacecraft. Also note that in the beginning of the episode, Dreamy's previous attempts to fly were based on those of the Smurf who dreamt of flying from The Flying Smurf (a.k.a. A Smurf In The Air).
