Was "Purple Smurfs" the one where a Smurf turned purple, and bad, and then bit another Smurf, who then bit another, etc., nearly wiping out the Smurfs in a viral fashion? Wasn't that the same as "Les Schtroumphes Noirs" (The Black Smurfs)? Did the cartoon series producer wuss-out fearing anti-racism reprisals and change the color from black to purple? Haaaaaaaaaa. Oh well.
