Hello Everyone,

I'm joining in hopes of selling my vast collection of smurfs & smurf items. I need advice as to go about doing this. I am not so computer savvy as i seem to need to be. I see you have a smurf selling page. I haven't yet figured out how to set something up there. Do you have to have an e bay account or can one just list & sell on this buy & sell forum? Please advise?
I began collecting smurfs when my son was young in the 70's. We have amassed so many lovely smurfs & smurf items through the years.
Smurfs always seemed to make life happy for all who enjoy them. Collecting had become quite a fun family project.
I have 16 + boxes of smurfs & smurf memorabilia including smurf wall paper. I have things listed by boxes. I will be soon taking pictures of all the items from those boxes.

Well the best thing to do is put a list of what you have. Condition and any variations you might have. Post pic's if you can. I can help with post them, but you best bet is to put them on a site like Facebook or Flickr. Both are free. Then I can help you move them here.

Thanks for your kind offer. I will start to take pictures tomorrow. There are 16 large boxes of stuff. I do have the nearly complete composite set from SCCI including the gold pig. My head is spinning thinking of unpacking & taking all those pictures, & how much room they will take on the computer! I'll do my best.

Believe it or not they don't take that much room. Most computers have about 150GB and even a decient size pic is only about 800MB. If you are really worried about useing up your disc space on your computer, you can get a 2GB thumb drive and store your pic's there. My camera has a 1GB storage and it has 1860 pic's on it. I have a 2GB waiting to put in it. Sounds like you have quite a collection. I may have to get in on some of it. Once you get you pic's posted to another site if you have trouble let me know.

Bev, you can also "host" your images on a website like Flickr (very easy to do) that way pics don't take up room on your computer.
