Long time Smurf fan as I grew up with these guys and had about 30 of these figures when I was a kid but no longer do.

Looking to get into some smurf collecting at 28 years old. I started with the new 2005 set of 8 collection. Will they be remaking anymore of the old classic characters from the cartoons? Hope so!

I think you'll find more than a few of us started out just like you ( just wanting to have a few Smurfs for nostalgic reasons) but I for one have moved beyond that, into full-blown obsession. Thanks in part to this site and all the wonderful, crazy people that encourage me here.

It has been a wish of Smurf fans for a long time that they would make more of the characters from the old cartoons, but that seems unlikely as long as they are not in the mainstream anymore...

We do have Grampa and Nanny Smurf, Chitter and Smoogle, the Smurflings, Gargamel, Azrael, Puppy, Peewit, Johann, scruple but we never saw Big Mouth, Hogatha, Father Time, Mother Nature, Balthezar and others. I guess the scale was an issue? But they did make some of the Humans. I just don't know!
