Smurfy Day!
My name is Chris McBrien, and I used to be here ALL the time (except for work and family time)...I was under the name sufismurf.
I do magic shows for a living, for schools and libraries. I also teach magic and cartooning classes as added programs for my schools and libraries.
My wife and I are now opening "McBrien's Magic & Fun Center" here in Chester, IL(the home of Popeye the Sailor)....not only will we have magic and "just for fun" items, besides classes teaching magic and cartooning to kids and being a birthday party place...we're going to have my Smurf collection under glass displayed as a village with Smurf houses and Smurfs busily at work and play! We will also have used and new Smurfs for sale, along with Smurf houses and other smurfy items. And yes, we'll be teaching kids how to draw...Smurfs! (and Popeye, Spongebob, Charlie Brown, Simpsons....and of course their own creations!)

I've already ordered a "starter" to get my store opened as far as Smurfs...
2006: Pirate, Smurf with Flowers & Gift, Judo, Toothpaste, Papa, Vanity, Harmony, Papa, Smurfette, Grouchy, Brainy, Baby, Jokey, Smurf in Hammock, various Smurf cottages and houses. I will also have some from collections I"ve bought recently as well that are vintage in various conditions...
Are there specific Smurfs that are presently in production that you, the good Smurfs of Mushroomvillage.com, would want me to carry?

How ya been!

I beleive we talked about three years ago. I'm also a Smurf Collecting Magician who does Balloons, Face Paints and Magic Shows. I do it full time as well, mostly for brithdays and ompany events, but I do my fair share of schools and libraries too!

I bet that, like me, you would love to add smurfs into your show but can't because of those copyright laws! Those darn things are such a hassle for entertainers who don't want to pay for rights!
