wacky packages
From browsing, I think I discovered that the Wacky Packages Smurf sticker was not an official WP sticker, just awesome original artwork it seems! So much for hoping to find one.
Wouldn't it be great if Wacky Packages made a Smurf one? I know from the new series that have come out within the past couple of years, you can find a My Little Pony parody, Care Bears parody etc, So I hope Wacky Packages people make a Smurf one soon.

For those that wondered, Wacky Packages were a big fad in the 80's by the Topps company. They were sticker cards (like Garbage Pail kid stickers were) that were parodies of different products. Website: http://www.wackypackages.com/

This is what Smurfy Angel is referring to...I thought this *was* a real Wacky Packer sticker (As I used to call them when I collected them in the 80's...)

It's just funny because I've occasionally tried searching for this smurf sticker to buy but came up with nothing! I don't think anyone here owns one? and then I found this info http://www.wackypackages.org/John_Mann_Website/artwork/
Under the Michael Gates link, which I already emailed to you Pete. So seems to me it is made up. I dunno.

I think you're right - the small print says (C) Peyopps 1975!
I don't think Topps would mess with their trademark, I think the joke would stay on the pic. Plus the sitre says pretty explicitly that these are fan art. I'll fix the archive, a Smurf fan submitted it, and I assumed it was real, my bad! Thanks!
